How to Empty Recycle Bin of Phone on Samsung

When you delete phone records from your Samsung phone or tablet, there is no need to empty the trash, but there is a need when you delete contacts from your Samsung device.

For this, you should open the Phone app from either the home or apps screen on your Samsung. From below select Contacts, not Keypad or Recents.

On the Phone app, tap on three-vertical dots ⁝ to see the Recycle Bin and tap on Recycle Bin.

How to Empty Recycle Bin of Gallery on Samsung

How to Empty Recycle Bin of My Files on Samsung

In order to empty the recycle bin for the My Files app on your Samsung phones or tablets, you should follow the steps below. My Files basically include documents, images, videos, audio files, documents, downloads, APK installation files, and many more things on your Samsung device. 

After that prior information, open My Files on your Samsung device which is generally stored in the Samsung folder either on the home or apps screen. You might have a look at the picture below to see what it looks like.

How to Disable Recycle Bin on Samsung

Disable Recycle Bin by switching off the button next to it. In this way, your deleted files or folders will not be kept for 30 days on the My Files app.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on Search Box from the top right.
  3. Search for "Recycle Bin".
  4. Select the app you want to disable recycle bin for and tap on it from the search results
  5. Ultimately, disable Recycle Bin by switching off the button next to it.
